iCSee-for-PC-Mac iCSee allows you to visually monitor camera feeds. Recordings of these can then be saved to an external storage unit such as an SD card. Further iCSee offers you the option to view the camera feed in real-time via your Android device.

Whilst the Android application is undoubtedly the most used access point for viewing images, there is great value in being able to access these images on your home PC or laptop. How can you run an application designed primarily for use on an Android operating system device on a device running a different operating system?

How to download and install iCSee app on your PC using BlueStacks emulator

Downloading an Android emulator

To run Android software on a Windows or Mac operating system, you will need to download an “emulator”. This, as the name suggests, emulates the environment that the application should natively run in. The most popular emulator software for Windows and Mac is BlueStacks (www.bluestacks.com/download). We will be focusing mostly on installing this software on the Windows operating system.

Installing the emulator

Visit www.bluestacks.com/download. On this page, click download and the site will give you the correct version of the program for your computer.

Using BlueStacks for the first time

Once it has completed downloading, double-click the downloaded installation BlueStacks file to open the program. You may be given the option to sign in or to create an avatar user-identity for yourself. You may do this if you wish or you may skip this option for now. Once the homepage has opened, navigate to the menu item on the top-left side: “My Apps”.

Accessing Android applications within BlueStacks

From the “My Apps” menu you will be asked to use your Google ID to sign in. This is a required step that will allow you to later download applications from the Google play store. After signing in, you will be given several menu options, including the option to opt out of communications from Google regarding product updates. You may wish to consider opting out of these. Once you have successfully logged in you are ready to begin downloading apps.

Downloading the iCSee application

Adjacent to the “My Apps” menu button is the “App Center” menu button. Click this to open available applications. Here you can see all applications available for download and use via the BlueStacks program. In the top right-hand corner there is a search box. Type “iCSee” in this box. The results may show many apps whose name contains the text iCSee. Ensure you find the correct application and click on it. You will be given the option to Install it.

Installing iCSee

As when installing on an Android device, the program will ask for the application to be permitted to perform functions on your computer. Accept these. The iCSee application will now complete installation.

Finally opening and running iCSee

Now you have downloaded the iCSee application. Navigate to the home page of the BlueStacks program and you will find the option to open the iCSee application there.
That’s it you have now installed the software and are now able to begin using it.

your’re screwed, cause you can’t. you need to install the app, so china can access all your phone info. there’s no free launch. but, in this specific case, you pay, and you don’t have right to launch. espionage… that’s all about.
