best-anime-streaming-sites When it comes to pop culture, there are two movements today that each have a huge following: Korean pop (kpop) and Japanese animation, or anime. No matter who you are, you can enjoy Japanese anime; there is a vast pool of anime that it’s very easy to find one according to what genre and plotline you are partial to.

That said, there have been an increasing number of streaming websites dedicated to the ever increasing number of Japanese anime. This article is going to offer points about some of the top anime streaming websites out there.

Because some of the websites have subscription-based utilities, they will be divided.

First, lets see the free anime streaming websites.

1. gAnime.to

This website is very user-friendly and very easy to navigate, with a large number of anime both subbed and dubbed. If you’ve tried looking for anime streaming sites, you know that it’s somewhat of a pain to find ones with good English dubs, let alone English subtitles. gAnime provides you with the best quality streaming anime series all at no cost.

This websites also has a very organized and varied list of genre that you can pick and choose from. If not sure what to watch, not to worry! On the homepage, gAnime features a popular anime that you could try watching.

What I like about this website is that it has the schedule of each anime episode’s release under the navigation bar on the homepage. Remember, this is all free!

2. Kissanime.ru

Like the first entry on this list, kissanime is a top anime streaming site where you can encounter the anime that is constantly coming out, both in English and Japanese, with English subtitles for the Japanese-subbed ones. KissAnime also has a neat and user-friendly layout, listing all of the episodes under the anime’s page. The really nice thing about this website is that you can click onto the next episode in the series just as you finish the previous one, using the arrows that are displayed on the same page. Both KissAnime and gAnime are English friendly.

3. Kisscartoon.ac

Not specifically a Japanese anime streaming site, but this top cartoon streaming site has some Japanese animations that are not necessarily anime, or Japanese animated moves like Howl’s Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, and Spirited Away. Regardless, KissCartoon is a top streaming site that I had to list. The websites also have Western animation series such as Avatar The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, and Steven Universe.

Now for the websites that have subscription-based utilities. Keep in mind that this does not mean you can’t use the anime streaming sites if you don’t pay money. However, having premium membership naturally earns you more access to other functions that non-paying users don’t have access to. Consider yourself lucky!

4. Crunchyroll.com

This anime streaming site combines the best of both words: anime and manga, from which a lot of anime are derived. You can read a lot of different manga chapters using this top streaming site and then hop straight to watching the anime. This top streaming site, like all the other ones on this list, have a variety of different anime that have English dubbing. As a paying user of this anime streaming site, you gain access to a larger pool of anime and manga, while the non-paying users only have limited access.

You’ll also be happy to know that a premium membership also means that you won’t see any ads while watching anime. We all hate ads, don’t we? Unfortunately, the non-paying users of the site will have to deal with the ads.

Also, paying users will get access to each anime episode only one hour after the episode airs in Japan! You get it fresh out of the oven! Or in this case, Japan!

5. Funanimation.com

Being that Funanimation is where English dubbed anime comes out of, is it any wonder that their website is on this list? With this website, users have access to all of their anime content with English dubs and Japanese subs. And like the other top anime streaming sites, Funanimation’s website is user-friendly and very easy and fun to navigate around.. Unfortunately, Funanimation’s website does not work in every country. For example, it does not work in South Korea.

6. Netflix.com

Let’s Netflix and Chill! Not really, but anyway, everyone knows what Netflix is! It is home to a ton of movies, TV shows, cartoons, documentaries, and every other type of media imaginable! Much like the other streaming sites on this list, Netflix has a lot of anime to choose from. However, depending on where you are in the world, the gallery of anime that you are offered will change, as will the other categories of media.

Regardless, enjoy what you have access to with a subscription to Netflix! It’s under $10 USD a month with unlimited access to your favorite movies and media! Netflix also creates their own original series, both live-action and animated, that you have access to! For the most part, they are thoroughly enjoyable.

As you can see, there are many ways for you to get access to top anime streaming sites, to hundreds of your favorite anime and manga series. They’re just one click away!
